My name is Samin and I'm a web developer (both front-end development and back-end development). I've been doing both programming and design intermittently since 1999 and more continuously since 2006. At an early age I became fascinated with technology and began teaching myself how to program - starting with Visual Basic. From there I expanded to creating web sites and learning various other programming and scripting languages.

I graduated from Parsons The New School of Design in May 2009 where I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design and Technology. In my time at Parsons I have focused my talents and abilities towards interactive design, particularly game design/development and web design/development.

For my senior thesis I created an adventure game titled Tesseract coded from scratch in Flash/ActionScript 3 and constructed using 3ds Max 2009 and Photoshop CS3. I've documented my thoughts and production process since the initial idea last year which can be viewed at my thesis blog.

I am motivated, intelligent and multi-talented developer with extensive skills in a variety of applications.

My primary focus is on web development and interactive design.

Prior to my attendance at Parsons I had been pretty much self taught in all respects of technology. While attending I took a variety of classes that enhanced my knowledge of the following programs and programming languages:

Anything I do not know I am willing and capable of learning it relatively quickly. I can grasp on to new concepts, whether design or programming related, without trouble.
